ok but first you need to know something

.1 It has a pole but you STILL need a wooden pole in the ground. If you already have one in your old mailbox, simply cut the mailbox off and put it back on once you've assembled it.2. connected from top to bottom. Another attempt will not work. Since thw arehouse obviously creates them and stacks them on top of each other, this is NOT a perfect fit and the screw holes aren't holes. just dots, and the screws need to be at an angle, not straight down, or they'll pop out again. Make two media first. These first two pieces do NOT fit together as it may seem - they must be bolted on. The rest just go to the next part and then to the next assembling all the parts in reverse order from the top. You will need to screw the bottom main mailbox to the bottom post. Cut the post (12" to 18" off the ground. You may be able to move it longer, but use screws to keep it from loosening. It will come loose if you don't use the specified screws everywhere. A regular screwdriver will work in the However, on the top section of the mailbox, in the area of the wooden post it slides over, you'll need an electric screwdriver - without the wooden post it slides over, this won't fit - people are losing screws because people in the warehouse aren't sealing the box properly in the rear newspaper section i I don't get newspapers so I'm fine but otherwise I would have sent them back small.whoever thinks otherwise has problems. It's larger than a standard mailbox, same height but wider.Instructions SUCK.I used the picture to prompt to try it something i haven't done to get it working but that doesn't explain the step you need quite a bit of g Use common sense to put it together, but the instructions make it even worse. Use the first picture with the first two parts, you can do the rest without reading or looking at anything as they basically belong together. If you do it out of order > it won't work, so it will be less of a headache if you do it the way I suggest. You can use a regular screwdriver, but the screw at the bottom of the newspaper slot needs to be screwed in before you attach the mailbox to it, otherwise you'll need a short, short screwdriver to finish the screw. It wasn't packaged professionally. It seemed like someone had sent it back and no one checked that all the details were included. Nothing needs changing, I don't see anything that needs changing and I find it odd on the poster where it's mentioned. Technically they're allowed to say a mailbox as long as it has one, but they don't explain that it's hollow and not inherently strong, so a wooden post anchor is still needed. Most people should be able to use what's already in the bottom and just gut the top. Three stars because it used to be great. Two down for bad instructions, a company that doesn't seem to care what they make or who buys it as long as they get their money and missing parts due to bad warehouse workers from the original company, not Revain. Revain prides itself on correct shipping and will not accept partially opened or weak boxes. This does not appear to have been shipped from Revain as it was shipped from the main warehouse to a person who then also mailed it. You can find it cheaper at your local hardware store, I should have bought it there, but I understand that convenience isn't worth my money or time.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
