I truly believe that quality shoes are very important for everyone, including children who are still growing and developing. I was looking for something high quality yet affordable for a child who will likely outgrow the shoe before they "make money" on a higher priced item. DC shoes are a good brand name and tick all the boxes I was looking for. My friend's daughter has been wearing them for almost two months now and she loves them. Her mother told me that she likes that her child can easily put them on and take them off himself and that she doesn't worry about walking in Pre-K with unlaced shoes during the day and tripping or loose shoes getting on her ankles rub. etc. They also withstand being hit by children. Runs, runs, plays with no problems. The soles are made of good material, don't slip on wet surfaces like some cheaper soles do, and show no signs of falling apart anytime soon. I recommend this product
