Serves the purpose but why are the components so inferior
Used in a bag to split a mic input between two mixer recorders. Does the job well electronically, but very large for handy work. What I also didn't like was that there was no blocking on the XLR input. The first thing I had to do when I got it was take it apart and drill out the cheap plastic XLR the Whirlwind had built in, then replace with a heavy-duty Neutric XLR to keep the mic cable in-box could be drawn. The decision on how to make cheap money is obviously made by Whirlwind's accountants, not the local people.
