I bought this very expensive tape hoping to effectively hide a 1 inch scratch on a very strong hose that was leaking water. I wrapped the tube with this tape about a foot from the scratch on both sides and of course covered the scratch very well. Well, my hose is still leaking, just a little. I didn't even use the tube for the full 24 hours after applying the tape, hoping the glue would set. Before applying, I wiped the section of tubing with tape. The surface was clean. I really hoped so, but no! THIS BAND WILL NOT WORK FOR TUBE FLOW. THIS WILL NOT STOP A LEAKING HOSE! I would advise you to keep looking for a waterproof tape that will prevent the hose from leaking, right? I wish I had my money back! This tape is USELESS! I would like to give negative 5 stars.
