Review on πŸ”© Red Stainless Steel Nut and Bolt Thread Gauge by Andrew Kay

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Normal fuzzy sensor

Look elsewhere for "universal" sensors of this kind, plastic or metal, don't waste your money. This is a sensor that is basically useless. Only used for 1/2" or larger nuts and bolts, but terrible at sizing threads for 1/4" or smaller bolts. The thread pitch is almost impossible to determine. compounded by the difficulty of determining whether the thread is small metric or American. Spend more and buy a "real" metal gauge, any size on a cord with real threads, male and female. As mentioned, legibility is good on the front with white writing; Unfortunately, the most important aspect - the thread pitch - is written in red on the back.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product
