Very strong towels absorb oil based products as well as water based, they stand up to the rough environment of a machine shop. I don't use them as an alternative to paper towels, but in place of textile rags. There are just the right size too. The dispenser box doesn't outline the perforated opening, very hard to find that. Otherwise a terrific product at a GREAT price.
