So I ordered this product because it was $13, had good reviews, and had a speed of 300 Mbps - on my husband's recommendation. I'm not very computer savvy, I use my computer more for the internet and that's about it. I first installed it on an Acer all-in-one computer running Windows 7 and took it out of the sealed box. - The packaging is excellent, I looked at the instructions. First I just plugged in a small USB adapter without plugging it into a longer USB device and put in a disc because my computer said no driver, put in a disc, installed the driver, went through the setup process and got to the point where It was trying to find a connection and then I got stuck. I opened up and read the user manual that came with the program, and then it dawned on me that maybe I should try connecting the small USB thing to the big one and the problem is solved. My connection was instantaneous, I just had to enter the network key or something. As fast as my laptop operating in the same room as my modem in terms of speed! It's crazy because the computer I have it on is downstairs, halfway underground, and I don't even have a good cellular connection there. To enter the program interface and enter the network key, there may be a trick that I still don't understand. I only set it up for a day. There's also a blue flashing light that's almost always flashing, no big deal, at least let me know it's working. So that extra star is more related to things that concern me personally. I would definitely buy it again, I'm surprised it's only $13! Very happy with my purchase.
