70 downloads and 11 downloads about white edimax.

70 down and 11 download speed over white Edimax wireless USB port. I am impressed! i opened it both parts used. extension cord and USB adapter, and then plug it into the computer. Then I inserted the CD and installed the drivers. It took me less than 2 minutes to get this thing up and running. Email me at king_of_tennesse@yahoo.com if you have any questions. I am very impressed. I have 8GB of memory. 500GB hard drive. Processor 3.2MHz. 64-bit Windows 7!

Suitable for those who want a basic Wi-Fi connection.

This key works. And it was able to give my computer Wi-Fi access temporarily before I switched to Ethernet. Just a quick note for those who want to get wifi keys, as it is USB there will be a lot of lag and slowdown. Plugging it into a USB 2.0 port will give you the best reliability, but the speed isn't as good. 3.0 leads to more frequent failures. Overall, this is a good product for those looking for just a Wi-Fi connection, basic Wi-Fi connection and nothing more.

Pros
  • A free wired USB cable is included to improve wireless performance.

Excellent Ethernet to USB Adapter for Mac

Works very well but if you have a Mac you will need to download the latest driver. On a 15" MacBook Pro (Mid 2007) with OS X Yosemite, I sometimes have to "turn off the radio", "turn on the radio" when the Mac wakes from sleep. You don't see the Wi-Fi connection icon in on the status bar, but the app shows you the upload and download speed. The wireless adapter wasn't working. A small issue, probably unrelated to this device - I rarely used a MacBook until I got the adapter and Yosemite…

Pros
  • Specification - Standards: IEEE 802.11n; 802.11b/g backward compatible, Wi-Fi certified.
Cons
  • Requires socket

Another good working product from Edimax

As a former user of the 150Mbps adapter I have since found that I need a different adapter. 150 made me go to the Edimax website to download the driver. No problem, I saved the file on my desktop, transferred it to a USB stick and was always with me. When I bought this I thought no problem, I know where to find the drivers if needed. It came with a driver disk and instead of autorun I went into folder and found my installation of win7 and whala. Windows 7 couldn't find the drivers on its own so

Great adapter! Best in Computers & Accessories

So I ordered this product because it was $13, had good reviews, and had a speed of 300 Mbps - on my husband's recommendation. I'm not very computer savvy, I use my computer more for the internet and that's about it. I first installed it on an Acer all-in-one computer running Windows 7 and took it out of the sealed box. - The packaging is excellent, I looked at the instructions. First I just plugged in a small USB adapter without plugging it into a longer USB device and put in a disc because my…

Is working. for some time. on Network Adapters

The Edimax Mini USB Wireless Adapter is a great little WiFi adapter. When I first installed it, it set up and worked like a dream. Fast, good connections, great software to manage your connections (much better than the one built into Windows 7). The problem is when you remove it from some systems. I made the mistake of "ejecting" the device (safely remove hardware and eject media) and then plugging it back into the USP port. and nothing!. The rest is history. Tried uninstall, reinstall…
