4 cameras installed plus 2 additional PTZ, total 6. Easy to connect additional cameras to the NVR. The included 1TB hard drive has been replaced with a 3TB hard drive for more storage space. This took about 5 minutes. Simply unscrew a few screws to open the NVR, take out the included drive and install the 3TB drive. It was recognized immediately and prompted to format the hard drive. If needed, see the Xmarto support forum for instructions. Still learning the features but got a decent range from the cameras, nearly 100 feet and through a few walls. I have 2 cameras that are about 125 feet apart and their connection to the dashcam is dropping. So install the Xmarto Extender that came as a bonus with your purchase and see if that helps. Otherwise the picture quality is excellent. The capabilities of NVR cameras are impressive, both indoors and outdoors. The camera and NVR control apps are a little buggy, but they work. I can control the system via a direct wired connection to the NVR, via a browser over my home network, or with Wall Pixel software. I haven't tried the smartphone app yet, but I plan to do so in the near future. I'm still playing with the options, but so far I can't say anything negative.
