Review on πŸ“š Zentangle 3: Rubber Stamp Edition - Expanded Workbook with 40 Original Tangle Patterns, Interactive Exercises, Stamping Ideas, and Inspiration for all Skill Levels by Doris Tran

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Good book for 3rd grade.

This book is good if you have a lot of stamps and want to expand them, for example draw something on the stamps and then make balls out of them. I like to weave my stamps inside, for example in the shape of fish or butterflies. I have a handprint and I made balls in it. I think the examples used are too extreme for this book. The image of the woman on the cover is too far away. Maybe this book is for teenagers who are more into tattoos. Whatever the writers emphasized, she missed it on me. The content of the book is superficial and, as usual, leaves too many pages for practice. Some content seems like filler when running out of content. It must be hard as she only had 36 pages to complete. Some of the Zentangle books are great, some are mediocre. It's somewhere between so-so and gross.

Pros
  • a practical article
Cons
  • so far, so good
