For the price, these are good. But, expect roughly finished metal, with sharp corners and chipped blades. Wood that's covered in lacker, making a slippery grip, and the metal bands on the handles are all loose. Do not expect to use out of the box. I recommend refinishing the handles, and cleaning up the blades. At least these came sharp out of the box, but the chips in the blade will leave ridges in my woodwork, so I will have to reform and resharpen the blades before doing more delicate work.If you're okay with cleaning them up a bit before use, then these will do well, but if you want chisels that are ready to work from the box, it may cost you closer to $100.I will refinish these and hopefully use them a long time.
