If you are interested in wood power carving, these burrs are worthy of strong consideration. They offer a good assortment of shapes and come in a convenient plastic storage case that snaps shut. They fit perfectly in my rotary tool. The shafts are straight and they rotate without any wobble.I used the ball shaped burr to make a test cut for a scripted sign (see photo). The scrap wood piece I used was pine and it had been painted white. It was easy enough to control although any free hand operation requires some skill.I like the aggressiveness of the cut. They're sharp and they cut fast but not so fast to as to grab or jump. Once I got the hang of it I was able to follow the scripted lines without too much wandering. If I were to keep this scripted sign, I would go back and spend some time smoothing it out. These burrs are high quality and precision made. They're easy to control and work well on wood. I highly recommend them.
