I've tried 3 of these in the last 5 months and this remains my favorite to this day. There is no loss of speed or performance when using TB3 when connected to my eGPU. (As you can see in the screenshot - still 40 Gbps). This one feels a little heavier (still very light) compared to others I've used and doesn't have the "empty" feel you get with imitations or hubs made with very poor quality internals . My MacBook sits on a table with no pressure on the actual hub. It really looks like an extension for my Mac, not something I put in there to get some extra ports. HDMI works great. I tried my two Samsung 4K 8 Series 4K TVs and got the advertised 60Hz along with my Samsung CFG73 Gaming 144Hz monitor and got to 120Hz at 1080p with no issues. The input power was 100 watts as stated. Overall highly recommended.
