Review on 🧤 KitchenAid Asteroid Mini Cotton Oven Mitts: Set of 2 with Silicone Grip, Fire Red - 2 Count by Lauren Lewis

I like this idea. They are much easier to get out of the oven than traditional oven mitts. But the heat penetrates the mittens very quickly, and there's nothing like quickly pulling something out and putting it on the counter. . . or pull out the stand and slide it back. If I'm trying to steady the pan while inverting the contents, I have to switch to a different glove. As I try to move the casserole out of the oven onto the table — only 12 feet away — until I get to the table, heat seeps into my hands (and not just warm — it threatens to burn me). Oven mitts that have been used once (e.g. to turn the pans) can no longer be used when it is time to take the pans out of the oven. There is almost no heat resistance left. (I love KitchenAid products so this was a disappointment.)
