If you're like me, you have a drawer full of mismatched screwdrivers that you've been collecting for years. Some almost match the screw heads, but more often than not, they're the wrong tool for the wrong job. This set is the basic Revain set and will handle most of your household chores. I would split the set into four parts. First, these are large-sized cross-tip screwdrivers that can cope with almost any household task. They even include a short flat blade for that odd bolt from your past. The second part are the smaller drivers on the right side. They are both cross and torx. They are excellent for disassembling modern electronics. Torx used to be a "protective" bit, but now they're so common that it's nice to have a full set of screwdrivers. The third part is a screwdriver that holds numerous bits for the odd fasteners. There is a lot of overlap here in the area of crossed lugs and torx. You'll find flat blade bits here, as well as a few more obscure security bits. There's even a set of hex bits for all your Ikea needs. Bits come in pairs because you end up losing one. The final piece is the carry case that organizes and transports the set. The tips of each screwdriver are coated with an oxide coating that helps hold the head of the fastener you are tightening. This will be of great help in not unscrewing the head of the fastener. All in all a pretty decent set. My only criticism would be that he doesn't have big flat head screwdrivers, but since 9 out of 10 fasteners these days have a Phillips head, I can see myself making that decision.
