Review on 💧 Danze DA507107 1H Pbmv Ceramic Valve: Ultimate Pressure Balance Cartridge with Check Valve by Christopher Buck

Recently bought a home that has one of those Danze shower sets (I think), a one piece shower in the master bathroom. I say "I think" because the shower needs repairs. There are problems with the hot water pressure and when I pulled out the cartridge and valve there was no mark. After a long time, a lot of research and probably 4-5 different professionals who came to my house, I've narrowed down the replacement parts to this cartridge. It's clear. replaced. Still having the same problem. I saw in a review of this product that someone else had the same issue and ended up with a longer cartridge with a similar part number. So I tried that. It didn't fit. Then I decided to just order a valve to fit the cartridges I already have. (I ordered 2 valves that supposedly fit in each cartridge). I believe there were some manufacturer/engineer updates because the valves I received, while similar in shape and size, are lettered and numbered unlike the others. One says Gerber and the other says GOHO. These brands are better than Danze so I'll try one of these but I bet these cartridges won't fit. If you are looking for advice on this product, read the reviews. Do not do that. they don't last. Spare and replacement parts are a nightmare. You're on your own. If, like me, you are clueless about valves/pipes/showers, I advise you to bite the bullet and pay for big brands and professionals.
