Hadley Awesome Air Horns

I have this set of horns and love them. Each horn is mounted on opposite sides under the body of my 1996 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 Cummins Diesel. Why did I need her? Because I am towing a 30 foot closed vehicle tractor/cargo trailer and vehicles constantly cross two lanes in front of me to exit immediately in front of my truck and trailer (designated as a semi trailer). Since I mostly drive in eastern Tennessee and the mountains, I can't just pull over, people are careless (and don't care if they're on their cell phones) and the factory horn isn't good. I ended up making my own welded 1/2" x 3" wide flat mounts for each horn, attached the compressor to the front support mount on one side with the rubber grommets provided, and routed them at a 10 degree angle to the horn tilted below . in front of the truck but under the bed. I hooked up a relay to the engine bay, routed the wires through the car's flex guards and added a switch for the supercharger and another switch to power the Hadley circuit. I also wired the relays to only work in the auxiliary position to prevent them accidentally (or with my alarm) tripping. My horn button can use either factory horns or Hadleys at the touch of a button. These are not plastic horns. They are well made and worth the price.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors
