I used this version and the previous one to replace several doors. That works great. A few reviewers commented on the clip and plastic. There are two things to keep in mind when using it. One of them is not to overtighten the clamp. You only need enough pressure to keep the mount from slipping. Rubber pads on both sides help with this. If you buckle the sides, you're too tight! The cutter slides over the top of the mount and doesn't put much lateral pressure on the mount. If necessary, clean the rubber seals from time to time. Second, DO NOT remove the router from the mount until the motor and router are completely off. I also have a 1960's Stanley fixture that can be used to make the same hinges for jamb and door hinges. Exactly what you need for a completely new replacement. This item cannot connect. I also just used their mortise lock and that worked great too. Same rule for clamp motor and router. Saves a lot of time per bit.
