I have one of their chargers and am very happy with it. I was shocked to find it at a HUGE discount on Prime Day so I made the purchase. My intention is that I have a couple of summer cars that I wanted to quickly plug in and unplug for a charger. I admit it was my own fault for not reading carefully, but this device is basically designed to be ALWAYS connected to the devices it's charging and then a cable plugged into the wall. As the saying goes if you had a bunch of 3 batteries in a boat you would hardwire them and then make a connection, but you don't often want to just plug and unplug. i - i wanted to upgrade to the correct version but the prime had expired when i found the problem for a day and they didn't honor the price of the other device - so i went back.
