I have carpal tunnel syndrome and arthritis in my fingers. These hooks are very comfortable to crochet. I've had no problems with yarn snagging on hooks. Mine are pretty smooth. However, I would agree with the markings in the sizes. The 6.5mm hook is well marked and you can barely see the 7 on the pink hook and nowhere can I see the 8 on the blue hook. I just tagged them and problem solved. That's why I gave 4 instead of 5 stars. If you scroll through the image on the web you will see all the sizes, but again, you can barely see it on the blue 8mm hook. It comes with stitch markers and a nice case. Happy crocheting!
