Review on Tandy Leather Mini Anvil 3101 00 by Kelly Caballes

So my 6 year old son decides he wants to get into metalworking. After a long search for the "right" anvil, we decided on this one. He used it to work softer metals like copper and aluminum and also took a piece of silver with him. Caution: This is definitely not a "toy" for children. That's a real anvil. If you are teaching your child to work with metal, do so with plenty of practice/hand holding, soft metals, very small hammers, 100% controlled use and safety glasses if you venture down this path. Pros: This anvil is made of good material and has no unusual surface defects. Cons: Given the weight, the foot should be wider. Installed or not, this anvil isn't very stable when it hits the healing angles or horn.
