Very cute hearts! The wood is really smooth, no chips or stains. The color matches the picture on the listing perfectly, a very light wood with a darker texture. The dimensions in the description are correct. It's so frustrating when I think I'll get one size and they're smaller, so I especially appreciate the accuracy. I use a vise to drill holes in them for key rings and they don't split or splinter. They are lightweight and perfect for keychains and grandkids birthday tags. They take paint and stains very well, giving you many ways to use them, but they are also very beautiful on their own. I will definitely buy more.
