This Camco rod is NOT a full length rod, it is not a short 6 gallon rod. The magnesium portion of this bar is only about 6 inches long, a full +3 inches of steel from the threads to the magnesium portion of the bar. I just received TWO 9.5" Magnesium Rods (QP-MAR9-2PK) from Quick Products here on Revain. for the price of a Camco bar. Quick Product rods have a full 8.5" magnesium shaft and I'm sure they will last at least 3 months longer than Camco. Have bought Camco for years. No longer
