I may have purchased the wrong product for the task. I had a small chip on the edge of my marble countertop, maybe 1/4 inch. I mixed and applied the product twice, but both times it just came off. The first time I thought I should let it dry and then use a razor to cut off the excess, but the moment I touched it the product just came off like silicone rubber or something. Next time I cleaned the spot with a small brush and muriatic acid to make sure it was clean, left for 24 hours. Then I used 200 grit sandpaper again to lightly sand the excess first. Barely touched and the whole patch popped out again. This does not work for me. Then again, maybe I bought the wrong kit. Anyway it doesn't work and I have to find something else!
