Works on Faux Marble

The product was easy to use and passed the test on the road in Co. Cal for a year. I used it to fix a broken faux marble countertop. I mixed it with System Three 3200A04 White Paste Pigment Coating to get a white color to match the countertop.

Don't waste your money on

Purchased this item to repair large chips on my stone floor. Mixed 50/50 according to instructions and filled the holes. It was never installed. I'm going to get the travertine filler I bought at Home Depot. A little more laborious, but it works and adapts perfectly. It was necessary to believe the bad reviews and ignore all the good ones.

Easy to use. Works great

I work as a contractor and I usually leave this job to granite installers. I had a project where the granite was removed due to a flood and required 3 pieces to be reinstalled so I decided to do it myself. I bought that and some color additive. Slowly add a small amount of colorant to the resin until it matches the color of the granite. I mixed the activator and applied it with a plastic applicator. I scraped off the excess with a razor blade. That looks great.

Better than expected

This product is fantastic. It takes some practice to get it right, but no rocket science. I had a long crack in the granite slab behind the sink. Judging by other reviews, this is a common problem (whatever). I mixed the product in a plastic container with plastic utensils. I disassembled it into several parts; after 10 minutes it solidified and then solidified. Everything was fixed within an hour. Before you do this, be sure to remove the excess. Aside from replacing the entire countertop…

A good product. That's how I colored it

Good product. I lacked information on tinting, so here's what I did. I went to my local Benjamin Moore painting (a reputable construction company, not a big box) and chose a paint that I thought matched a granite crack and they sold me just paint ($1.50 an ounce - what a deal ). It was color for no reason. I poured some into my mixture and it looked dark. I thought it would dry easier but no. I had to dig up the first version and start over. Then I started with less than a drop and it was close

Not suitable for repairing stone chips in marble.

I may have purchased the wrong product for the task. I had a small chip on the edge of my marble countertop, maybe 1/4 inch. I mixed and applied the product twice, but both times it just came off. The first time I thought I should let it dry and then use a razor to cut off the excess, but the moment I touched it the product just came off like silicone rubber or something. Next time I cleaned the spot with a small brush and muriatic acid to make sure it was clean, left for 24 hours. Then I used…

But it worked. for building materials

It worked, but I got either a used hardener or an old can of hardener. About 1/4 of the hardener was unusable. It came out as a drip and doesn't mix. It was useless. The instructions indicate that a thin layer may form. But it turned out to be a thick layer, which I didn't expect. I had to start over because if I just added more hardener the ratio would be wrong. Found the tin for "fresh" hardener to make what I needed. The jars looked like they had been opened before because they had all of…

This product works.

I followed the instructions on the bottle. For my application, I mixed a tablespoon at a time. Place the two pieces on wax paper that has been laid flat. Couldn't do a pressure clamp so it was just a physical pressure. Keep track of your time. After a fifteen minute break, I used a razor blade to remove the excess from the top. No problem with that. Smooth off excess epoxy on the back to the thickness of the paint. I let the granite dry overnight, I was in no hurry. Separating the wax paper…

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Not everything fits

After a long search on the internet, after 20 years of work, we decided on this GraniTile product to fill the cracks in our granite worktop. It worked way better than I expected! I got an offer of $1,500(!) from one handyman and $575 from another to fix two 20" vents in front of and behind the sink - and neither guy showed much enthusiasm for the job! Bought a $4 tube of Tints-All at our local hardware store in Burnt Humber and mixed it with this two-part epoxy (epoxy alone dries to white) to…
