A battery lamp? Great idea. So I bought one. It worked for one day. Then it died. Best Buy instructed us to send it back (free shipping) and they'd send a new one. They did. The new one worked for ONE DAY. Then it died. Best Buy kindly refunded our money but this item is not worth purchasing. Skip it.

With its convenient remote control and battery-powered operation, this lamp is perfect for use in bedrooms and kids' rooms, providing a handy night light that can be easily dimmed or brightened as needed

Cons

The level of dimmability may not be sufficient for those who desire a much more customizable setup, as the light can only be regulated to a limited degree
