So today I decided I'm sick of all this crap. I removed the factory Xterra fenders as they cannot flex and damage in the wrong direction. After riding without fenders for about 4 months I decided enough was enough for me. After a weekend at the track, I'm fed up with the mud on my X. I'm the one who buys the best I can when I can. As such, RallyArmor seems to make some of the best flaps out there. I know RallyArmor can be expensive, but after a little research I found Basic Flaps. They seemed just right so I spent $23 and they showed up a few days later. No more dirt! The valves were packed in a plastic bag with each of the 4 valves separated by a piece of paper. No fancy expensive packaging, straight to the point. When the valves came out of the box they were strong enough to last a while and flexible enough not to get in the way of rocks in the backcountry. The valves are 2mm thick and made of matte plastic. I went with the Black on Black model, which means it's a black valve with the Black RallyArmor logo. I wanted red ones but they cost $7 more and I got cheaper. Not too many miles on the flaps yet, but when I get a few miles on them I'll do an additional check.
