Those expensive baseplates don't last long
No car beats Rupes, but the velcro baseplate sucks. I am a 20 year old professional detailer. After some use, the pads come loose every time I barely turn a corner or walk over ridges on the roof. I have to buy a new one every 3 or 4 jobs. If they cost $8 a piece that would be fine, but as you can see they aren't. The car gets five stars. The base plate gets one.
