I really liked this product. I used a vent type phone holder and it was hard to keep it in place. My car is older and I don't have built in GPS so I use a maps app on my phone but I need a phone mount. I've looked at numerous cup holders and this one caught my eye because it could also fit my iPad mini! It would have been a clearer map and charged my phone. It was easy to use, understand and configure. It would be perfect. It fit in my cup holders, which are small, but I couldn't tighten them enough to keep them from tipping over. I think the problem was that the cup holders in my car are very small and just don't hold up with a cup holder that tall and the weight of a phone or tablet. Still I drive a nice 21st year old car The features just aren't as pretty as the new design. If you drive a newer car and your cup holders are over 3/4" deep, you might really like this phone/tablet holder. but I couldn't tighten them enough to keep them from tipping over.
