Review on HD W2H Converter Output Upscaling Adapter by Timothy Kiley

The video features footage from Phantasy Star Online output through the OREI Wii2HDMI adapter at 720p resolution. Revain video quality is NOT correct. I got this adapter to capture high quality gameplay footage of Gamecube games with my backwards compatible Wii and HDMI capture card. The capture card I own isn't that good at capturing good frames from standard definition sources, even component. Everything has changed with the OREI Wii2HDMI Adapter. Now I can shoot high quality footage without having to upscale or adjust the footage in other programs. Gamecube games that support progressive scan like Phantasy Star Online and Zelda: Twilight Princess look great on my HDTV. I only had one problem. When the Wii2HDMI adapter was connected directly to my capture card, I encountered a flickering issue that some people are complaining about. But when I put my Wii in the living room and connected it to my 42-inch HDTV with a Sewell active HDMI splitter, that stopped. No more flickering. So with my splitter, one signal goes to my HDTV and the other goes to the 25 foot HDMI cable that goes to my capture card and the computer in the other room. I had no issues with either display as I connected it to an active splitter and it shoots HD video just fine.
