HD W2H Converter Output Upscaling Adapter Review

When moving furniture, I accidentally broke my son's Wii component adapter and plugged in the original component adapter instead. He noticed it immediately! I apologized and told him a better connection was on the way. The converter was delivered quickly and works great. I connected the Wii to our HT receiver which is also connected to our TV via HDMI and now the Wii looks and sounds great! He is very happy and now I am completely forgiven. Highly recommended!

The converter looks pretty sturdy (not cheap plastic). The HDMI connector is rigid and requires little effort to connect, so I wouldn't mind having to add and remove it regularly. Also note that the HDMI converter and connector adds considerable length (maybe 4 inches) to the rear of the Wii console. The sound was great.
