Economical set of PLA silk threads in four different colours. Each spool contains 250 grams of filament. The colors are rich and bright, with a metallic sheen. The coils are carefully wound and properly packaged in individual vacuum sealed pouches, each containing a sachet of silica gel. This thread required no special processing and worked great with my default PLA settings. SETTINGS: * Printer: Adventurer 3 Lite, Ender 5 Pro * Nozzle Temperature: 210°C, 200°C * Table Temperature: 50°C * Table Material: Standard Build Plate * Speed: 50mm/s * Nozzle: 0.4mm * Layer : 0.2mm * Thread used for the model: 11.12 grams/3.73 meters COLOR: The kit I received was pure purple, copper, yellow gold and light silver. The colors are very rich, warm tones with a gorgeous silk/metal finish that shines in the light. RESULTS: Although my default settings gave very acceptable results, you can see some ringing on clean layers. Artifacts are more visible with silk PLA, so it may be necessary to tweak your print settings to ensure clean results. However, the results are still great and I haven't had any issues loading filament or printing. Also excellent adhesion to the bed. FINAL VERDICT: Great set of silk PLAs that look amazing and make printing easy.
