I overlooked that there are no fuses because I have low voltage protection. I haven't driven in weeks so this is a must have if I want to use the parking feature. I noticed the reviews and was hoping to get a set that would work correctly at low voltage, but I was wrong. I did some dyno tests with the A129. The cable works as expected, you must have both yellow and red turned on for the device to turn on for the first time. It runs on around 200mA when only one camera is connected. When it's on and you turn off the yellow, it goes into a low-power state. I tried it with 1 and 3 fps, it stays around 130-150 mA here. It won't kill your battery quickly but don't let it sit for weeks well great as expected. Note that if I hadn't enabled parking mode at all, it would still add 10-20mA. what it was, not really something to worry about, but I found it odd, it just didn't turn off fully as expected, there might have been other features enabled, but it's a camera, not a cable. The part that was disappointing, as others have pointed out, was that I couldn't turn the camera off at the voltage that would allow me to start the car. The maximum available cutoff of 12.4V switches the camera at 9.99V. The lower settings also went down and didn't seem to correlate at all with what's printed on the side of the cable. If I were to actually incorporate this, I'd be looking for a jump in the middle of an airport parking lot. If you need a parking feature, install an extra battery if possible, or find a more expensive but accurate voltage monitoring alternative. This is not the wire you are looking for.
