Beware of automatic washing with this lock
is exactly the same product as the original lock block on my Leer Topper lock. After installing the block on my topper, the lock didn't last 4 months with normal use. After all, the original lasted almost 6 years. This only lasted 4 months. When using a car wash like the Delta Sonic, be careful. The nozzles are angled to allow soap and water to enter and clog the locking mechanism. The small door is always down, it takes more than one door to keep high pressure soap/chemicals out.
