Exactly what we were looking for! The truck had a hard trunk lid and the lock eventually broke. It was the perfect replacement for a lock. Easy to install just had to drill another 1/2" hole which was good. I would definitely recommend this.

This connector was installed to replace the original. Didn't take any time at all. Not as durable as the original. The original was replaced as the lock no longer worked. The new one works great and I couldn't be happier knowing my tools are safe in the back of my truck.

A Leer dealer charged over $100 to replace a faulty toggle switch that was supposed to be under warranty. Very happy with this purchase. Although this lock has good weather protection I would recommend treating the new lock with a rust block or similar.

This product worked on my Leer camper body after I sanded down a cutout that didn't match the factory cutout. Grind and assemble vise and groove. It works great. I called the company and they hadn't heard of my problems beforehand. Not sure if it's just me or if it's the whole lineage, but with a bit of engineering it should work just fine. is exactly the same product as the original lock block on my Leer Topper lock. After installing the block on my topper, the lock didn't last 4 months with normal use. After all, the original lasted almost 6 years. This only lasted 4 months. When using a car wash like the Delta Sonic, be careful. The nozzles are angled to allow soap and water to enter and clog the locking mechanism. The small door is always down, it takes more than one door to keep high pressure soap/chemicals out.

One review states that it is a direct replacement for the push button system on the rear window of a Leer Topper truck but it is not. for my. If it came with new cables it might work great but I had to figure out how to reuse old cables that had a crimped sleeve. I was a little disappointed that he didn't have any cables with him.
