Good idea and useful but not sure to count on it.

I want to set up a small tent on my motorhome. Either over the barrel - from the hatch - or into one of the sides. I have a small tarp and legs. I wanted to use a bungee but couldn't find the length and didn't want to damage my trunk. I saw them and decided to give it a try. First, they're pretty sticky. Before first use, remove the plastic cover. I'm not sure how long the sticky ones will last - especially if you leave them open between uses. They are very sticky at first, so be careful when using them. They're a little tricky to remove - just keep pulling on a corner. They leave no glue on the surface - at least on the surfaces I've tried. To see how well they're holding up, I set one up on a bookshelf and then hung a portable Bluetooth speaker over it. I assume the speaker weighs 2 or 3 pounds. I made sure the suction cup was set correctly. About 45 minutes later I heard a knock. The suction cup came loose and the speaker fell to the floor. I think the same will happen with my tarp. Any wind or pressure will make them fall. We'll report back when the weather improves.
