I was hoping this would be a good humidifier but was disappointed that I wanted to get it in the 45% humidity range. The main problem lies in the sensor. How can you. Look at my picture where the device reads 78% humidity while my meter reads 41%. This is an issue where I've wanted to use the auto function or even set it manually when the sensor is so far away that I have to figure out by trial and error where the device is giving me 45%. Likes: the ability to heat steam and that the device remembers your manual settings until you unplug it. So there is nothing to cling to. I assume they want you to put it in the sink but I fill the tub where a handle would be needed to hold it as it is heavy when full. It's not easy to put the water canister back in when it's full. You have to move it a little to put it in place. I understand how this can lead to people saying it's leaking if you don't make sure it's seated properly. I think my search for a humidifier continues where I really need it for a dry winter.
