The instructions say to put in about an ounce with the pump off - BUT do it at or near the leak if you know where it is - What? How will it work? The spa is full of water, the leak could be from the jet or the filter inlet BUT when the pump is off it all just drips onto the spa floor! Also, filling into the inlet of the main filter with the pump off will not result in the product entering the system fully/correctly. Why? Because you shouldn't turn on the pump/pool within 1/2 hour of adding the product!? After 1/2 hour your pump should run within 8 hours. It just doesn't boil down to the correct distribution of the product at the site of a potential leak. Just grab Fix-a-leak from Marlig instead.
