Review on 📶 SMC Networks Xfinity DOC SIS 3.0 Cable Modem SMCD3GNV - High-Speed and Reliable Internet Connection Solution by Tyler Ramey

I actually bought this modem in 2016 while living in TN. I had Comcast internet service and used it with no problems. I moved to Virginia in November 2018 and re-subscribed to Comcast/Xfinity internet service. I had been using it for almost 7 months when Comcast/Xfinity did an audit in August 2019 showing that the modem I was using was actually installed there. It has never been returned by a previous customer. As old as the modem was, and even though I had a receipt showing I bought it from a third party on Revain, they now add $14 monthly in hardware rental to my bill. I can't seem to do anything about that either. That's why I decided to post a review here. Stolen/unreturned cable devices are sold there to warn others. Beware.
