The modem is still owned by Comcast

I actually bought this modem in 2016 while living in TN. I had Comcast internet service and used it with no problems. I moved to Virginia in November 2018 and re-subscribed to Comcast/Xfinity internet service. I had been using it for almost 7 months when Comcast/Xfinity did an audit in August 2019 showing that the modem I was using was actually installed there.
