In the dark with a full moon. I could barely see the light coming from my house. 2# IR Illuminators; I had to use their light to see anything. Please note that IR light can be seen by the user and any item or object. The red glow of this IR light can be seen from a hundred meters away. Using this IR light will also reduce battery life to around 1 hour. Do not wait 6 hours.3# IR vision is normal. I could see in detail. The level of detail was good at close range from 50 to 70 yards. Notice to Users; don't expect to look at the ground in front of your feet. The climb is so big that it starts from 40ft to 300ft. 4# product support. The company could not be reached. I would like to ask tech support to verify that the device is working properly as I couldn't see anything in the ambient light. I still don't know. So I sent the product back and as expected, returning Revain was easy.
