Hook and Loop is a nuisance when you're using heavy loads and need to get the job done
Now on my third set of hard and soft lasts in just a few years. Surprised how quickly these pads wear out and can't hold the disc properly. Once the hooks disengage and your discs fly away, you'll be stuck without a grinder until you find a new backing pad. In many years of heavy use, the workshop has never had this problem with PPE and PPE support pads. Discs are half the price! If the PSA disc isn't sticking, a quick wipe of the pad with solvent and you're back in business.
