This diamond collar sparkles and the bell makes a pleasant chime. When I received the item I noticed that one of the 'diamonds' didn't shine like the others and thought it was missing. "Diamond" was glued upside down in the collar. Our cat is not used to wearing collars, but tolerates them for about a day. We think she could have used more if the bell was a little smaller. It may crunch on the bell, but I haven't noticed any scratches or warping on the bell. We love the sparkle on the collar because it looks more expensive than it actually is. One of the attached photos really shows how well it sparkles. Update 5-28-19: After a few more sightings of Miss Kiki chewing on the bell, the bell gave way to teeth marks and light squeezing. Miss Kiki could only reach him because the bell hung so low. I removed the extra link in the bell so it was closer to the collar and hopefully out of reach of her gorgeous teeth. On the other hand, the collar smelled when we first got it, but now it doesn't smell anymore. Didn't try to wash it like another buyer said in a review. It's still very shiny, looks nice with her fur and the sound of the bell has changed but is still pleasant. This collar appears to fit a pet's neck at least 13 inches as Miss Kiki's neck is approximately 9.25 inches.
