As always a great product from K&N, aluminum tubes are always in fashion, never been a fan of plastic tubes for CAI. There is a small defect on the underside of the filter's metal case where it goes through the AC power lines. I highly recommend placing the case roughly where it should be, use a marker to mark where the AC lines go, and cut the case down so it is I'll slide over the AC lines (BEND THE AC LINE MISSING!) If you got it right you can use a rubber scraper in the recess to keep it from rubbing against the line, other than that minor issue, everything lined up pretty well and fitted smoothly, I have also used the factory hose that came with my 5.7 liter 300 to connect it to the pipe instead of the one that came with the unit.
