Review on 16-Core, 32-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor - AMD Ryzen 9 5950X by Adam Wawrzyski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Beyond praise! The product definitely deserves your attention.

I chose between 10900 and 5950, but figured that even though Intel is more stable, 32 threads are more useful to me for my needs than 20. Yes, you can drive it, and the regular utility from Asus, which comes with the x570 mother, does it chic. You just need to pull the water supply then to the computer or put the computer in the bath. Renders are not a stress test for half a minute. This is a wild load often for the whole day. You go quieter, you won’t change the percentage longer. Even without overclocking, he really accelerated everything for me, and in general, absolutely all programs began to work faster. I'm satisfied :)

Pros
  • 32 threads! Rendering in 3D software became much more fun after the 12 threads I had.
Cons
  • It's getting warm. Before that, I worked for 5 years on Intel i7-5820k. Cooling tower Red Hat. The temperature at 100% load did not rise above 60-65. True, he did not chase above 3.8. A new percentage with the same, current, new tower, easily jumps over 75. And I used the utility from Asus, it overclocked it to 4.5, but in the same tasks it began to instantly heat up to 90-92. Well, yes, the render went another 30% faster, but I figured that it would be better if the render went slower than I would go again for a new stone. I reset the BIOS to default and got the coveted 65 degrees in full load. It is almost 4 times faster than the 5820 anyway.
