So far this phone has been of great help in reducing calls to telemarketers. You have various options for handling incoming calls. I set up call screening, not full call blocking. I like that it announces who is calling from my directory. I haven't used a cell phone yet, but plan to do so soon. So far I'm happy with this phone and while my other expandable AT&T phone doesn't actually connect to this phone, I can still use it with this one. (I still wanted to use an old phone so I could pop a headset over my head when making calls, and this model doesn't have a phone jack.) I'm considering buying another version of this AT&T phone with a smart call blocker for mine Mom, so how old is she and gets a lot of phone sales calls.
