Review on Trend ME JIG Ellipse Cutting by Mitch Emmel

I really liked the design. I would keep it if I could get it to work. I bought 2 of these and sent both back. The accuracy is close to zero points! The brass sliders didn't fit into place. The nylon sliders did not fit on the axle plate. The centering circle and pin did not fit in the hole in the circle. Center pin for creating circles is not snapped. Several parts were missing. Does MFTR consider this to be the minimum? Do people buy it and keep it? Was this tool a real headache? time to move on; I would not recommend buying.
