Review on TPI ET9SRTS Voltage Terminal 50° 90°F by Shane Minter

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good simple rough controller.

This "thermostatic" switch serves as a rough temperature control for an evaporative cooler. We are in our 70's, a couple living in the (hot) San Joaquin Valley of California. Without this device, we'd be pacing quite often to turn the roof cooling on and off to keep the house temperature within an acceptable comfortable range. When this unit is set at around 72 degrees Fahrenheit, we find it works well at around four degrees, or between 70 and 74 degrees. Note: The night temperature outside here stays well above 72 degrees for most of the summer, so it often reaches 84 degrees on the warmest days inside our home. As a result, our cool box runs 24 hours a day despite the use of this thermostat, but has the desired functionality in the milder spring and autumn periods.
