My husband is a heavy cigarette smoker. I quit many years ago. Any ex-smoker will tell you that cigarette smoke worries us more than anyone else. We bought four of these for our 3,000 square foot home. One in the basement near the tray. No more smell from there! One in the kitchen next to the trash can. The garbage smell is gone. One behind my favorite favorite place to sit and smoke. You can actually see the smoke disappear. Wow, much better! One in the hallway for residual bathroom odors etc. I was told too much is bad so we bought these little cheap units. Every now and then you can smell the brightening negative ion scent which I personally love. Most importantly, I no longer cough on residual smoke all night. Nice addition, these neat little gadgets burned out all four in just 6 months of use! I am changing my rating. Unsatisfied. I would return them but it was too long I'm sure. Was hoping they would last longer than THAT!
