Looks great for the first two days but don't even try to wash it!

It was such a beautiful soft rug that putting it on the floor in my kitchen was a dream! The first 2 days. It really is like that. a kind of sticky fiber on the carpets where something sticks, be it food or a paper towel, it's like this carpet won't let go and even an attempt to vacuum it failed. After the first two days it looked very knotted and dry and when I tried to wash the fabric underneath it completely unraveled and looked like it was a 10 year old rug! Scraps of fabric got stuck in my washing machine and nearly destroyed my washing machine trying to dry it. I do not recommend this rug, especially if you have small children!
